The Electoral Council introduced the a web portal, allowing citizens to verify their voting center and review the comprehensive catalog of projects submitted within their respective Communal Circuits.

This digital tool aims to provide electors with all necessary technical and logistical information prior to casting their votes. By entering their identity card number, users can instantly access their precise voting location and the detailed list of community proposals to be elected in their specific geographical area, ensuring an agile and informed electoral process.

These projects, spanning critical areas such as public services, infrastructure, health, and education, have undergone extensive debate and prioritization by the communities themselves through open citizen assemblies. This preparatory phase guarantees that the proposals reflect the genuine and most pressing needs identified by the residents.

The upcoming March, 8 consultation represents a significant advancement in the policy of direct resource management by Popular Power. Under the coordination of the Ministry for Communes, inhabitants of each circuit will decide which work or service is a priority for their sector, with the State directly allocating the necessary funds for their execution.

The electoral authorities have reiterated its commitment to providing full technical and logistical support to ensure the transparency and reliability of the entire process, calling for a massive participation. This consultation builds upon Venezuela’s ongoing efforts to deepen its model of participatory democracy, where citizens not only elect representatives but also actively decide the allocation of public investment in their neighborhoods.

This election aligns with the “7T-2030 plan” promoted by the Bolivarian Government, specifically addressing the need to transform public management and the economy at the local level. By prioritizing projects related to public services (water, electricity, roads) or infrastructure (schools, health centers), the government seeks to ensure that the country’s economic recovery is first felt directly in the communes, fostering a grassroots approach to national development and social welfare.
